SBE Fail?

Tricky, but yes, you would have to pay the full amount. Here's the trick, if you apply for membership then later apply for certification the cost would be the same, but as a member if you needed to you could retest at the reduced members rate. If you pass, you have the option of being a member through April first of the next year.
