I sent an email to [email protected] and asked if they had any plans to purchase klol. To my surprise they replied!!!! They told me this!! We are currently seeking to expand to different markets in the United States and yes houston is one of them!! We are looking foward to adquier klol and other stations in Texas!!.
Mr Davidson!!!

Dude, first off, please, tell me who Mr./Ms./Mrs. Davidson is? I really want to know. What position does he/she hold with SBS?

ALso go ask Wal-Mart if they are opening stores in N. Korea? They'll probably tell you they are currently seeking to expand to other markets.

She is Raúl Alarcón, Jr's secretary.

Mr Davidson!!!

There is no "Mr Davidson" at SBS; Raúl's secretary is Ivette Davidson.

Nobody in business uses multiple exclamation marks in a business communication!!.

I am sure there are other companies interested in KLOL and the other station they have to sell as well. I'm sure if you were to ask just about any of the major players here in town... Cumulus, Cox, CBS, Liberman... if they were interested in KLOL, they'd say yes. Mr. TexMex, we probably won't here anything solid too soon. These matters have a way of dragging their feet. Look at the XM/Sirius situation. Anything the Government gets involved with these days, tend to get bogged down. We could sit here all day long and throw potential owners into the mix, but it's not going to solve the ownership issue. "Mega" is here for the forseeable future and it will remain a CC property until they get this whole mess resolved.

I was trying to prove a point David, but thanks to you, my point is no longer proven :'(. You gave him the answer.

Now in conclusion, quit spreading rumors Mr (or Ms?) texmex. If you start one, at least get the gender right next time.

I had wondered about SBS entering the market, but I don't think they'd really want to go into battle with the established stations of Univision or Liberman. Could you imagine a three-way battle of straight-up Regional Mexican formats for instance? They very well might keep the Mega format in a two station combo, though. Ah, idle speculation. I don't see it happening.

Just as a FYI, you can peruse SBS's stable of stations here: http://www.spanishbroadcasting.com/station_directory.html

Ok so it was a Typoo, and SBS has a station named Mega already!! And this was no rumor, this is this person said!! Hey they could of all been laughing at me!

It seems this board and SBS have something more than radio in common.
