SBS's NYC's La Privada?

Since Radio Vision Latina taken off the air this month on 93.1 HD2 and Radio Vision Latina in NYC will be available only internet online to listen Spanish CCM with Spanish Soft AC.

Is SBS's La Privada (Regional Mexican Urban) going to update on 93.1 HD2 this month or next month by the future?

Articles in RadioInsight and other trades indicated La Privada would be rolled out to hd2's in various markets by mid-January. Of course we are now near the end of the month, and it's still unavailable in this market.
I tried listening to it online from its SBS website a few minutes ago, and received only silence

SBS’s recently acquired KROI in Houston is running its primary Regional Mexican “La Ley” in HD, but so far no HD-2 with La Privada. However the station is still in its “50,000 songs without commercials” phase awaiting a full launch with air personalities, so I suspect any appearance of LP will happen after that.

La Privada is now broadcasting on WPAT HD2. As expected, it's playing a subgenre of contemporary Regional Mexican music (corridos tumbados?).
The music is apparently uninterrupted, except for brief ID's.

WSKQ-HD2 is also live now with text data calling it "La Privada" but no audio as of an hour ago.

Because of Privada, La Privada played Regional Mexican Urban with corridos, norteños with some hip-hop and reggaeton. So are you happy with Regional Mexican Urbana with singing 'n rapping of all time?

Try that again: I don't understand what you are asking.

I understand but La Privada 93.1 on HD2 is a new radio station since yesterday by playing Regional Mexicana Urbana according to Radio Insight since October 2024.

I'm wondering why La Privada was put on the air. It is playing such a narrow slice of Regional Mexican music, that it sounds monotonous after a few minutes. A normal Regional Mexican music format includes a variety of styles, such as banda, rancheras and cumbias.

SBS is attempting to turn this into a national brand via HD and streaming, ie a niche that is sees growth opportunities it can own. The streaming is the priority. Putting it on HD2 gives it additional visibility.
