B 94 really seems to be picking up steam.
Funny how Results has outperformed Forever with the format - guess talent and brains still can trump money and resources.

Family feud? Or does Meader just not realize it's all in the family?
FWIW, the current version of WBHV has a lonnggggggg way to go before "outperforming" the Beaver 103 version under Forever. In a post-ratings market there ain't no way to compare numbers, but the Beav hit #1, 12+. And the folks on Clearview are about a million-or-so short in billing, according to those who know the kind of sales 103 rang up as a CHR.
Wonder what yardstick Meader is using. As the only CHR left in a college town, 94.5 should do okay. No excuse for not doing okay.

Maybe
But Forever shed the format due to plunging sales - no? Perhaps they are the ones a million $ short.
Now B people are ramping up.
Sour grapes from the big shots. Forever just seems to specialize in destroying value.
And what does "all in the family" mean?
Forever, Results, Keymarket, Vital, are pretty much the same owners/conglomerate/money pot, just using a different moniker to get around FCC regs. Anyone in radio knows that.
Clangham - So it doesn't matter that Results' sales seem to be up and Forever's are way down (judging by the relentless barrage of PSA's)?
You say it all goes into one pot?
b 94 is not a real station its an internship program for penn state students. so not only does it sound like college radio, but it really is college radio. one of my roommates who is a penn state student did the "internship" and said that they run and do everything from working the morning show to promotions to evening hours. pretty good thing for the b 94 owners and one of the reasons why radio is dead.
also didnt someone at that station just get busted for selling drugs?
I must agree. While that sounds like great experience for the interns, letting them do everything right away leads them to loose respect for the business.
