Yo Scott, where is John Q. Rock hiding? And when does he get parole? Got my Z jacket ready for the big event on the 25th. I only work parttime at COS, but I already miss Glenn. Consumate pro. True to his word...not many in radio like him...he has my ultimate respect....bunghole! Glenn is laughing right now at that last comment! He does a great Cornholio from Beavis and Butt-Head! SCott first tequilla shot is on me! holla at yo boy!!!

Thrills!

I'll call Rocke today(he's still in Greenville). I'm sure he'll want to attend in August if he can. Thrills, as far as the tequila, you know I don't approve of drugs.
Hey man, would you email Glen's digits to me?

Scott...Thrills....Tequila! Sign me up! It will be just like old times...or last month when Thrills and I were getting boozey in the Vista.

Hi Carroll (and other RI-SC Board regulars),

Sorry for being quiet, I was in the hospital for about a week and just got out yesterday.

Anyway, I've tried finding the old Yes 97 t-shirt that I've won one weekend back in '91 along with a CD, but suspect that it wound up as a rag and was discarded. What I really would like to find is a shirt that I've picked up at Manifest 10 years ago that had a cartoon of a screaming DJ saying that "YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF ONE IN A ROW!!!". Can't find that either, dammit.

I'll try to bring some goodies, though.

Robyn

If you're gonna drink tequila, don't let anyone take your underwear off while you're passed out, soak it in water and freeze them because they're difficult for people to put back on because they're not as pliable when frozen...not to mention they're cold as hell...um, er, I heard somewhere.

Never happened to me, you understand, I only heard it somewhere...a while back, um, never mind.

Hey gang I am psyched about the 25th... If there are other members who post on here, but have been quiet you are also invited as well... All of the fun gets underway at 5PM... Robyn glad you are feeling better and hope you get to make it... I almost had a visit in one of those over priced hotels, but thank goodness what I had was not serious... I thought I was having a heart attack at work... I was scared to death because I never experienced so much pain in my life... I knew something was bad wrong so I had the Ambulance take me to the ER... I did not no if it was a heart attack, stroke or anything I just knew it scared the BLEEP out of me as well as my wife... I am Diabetic Type II and my doctor has been experimenting with different meds to correct an issue I have been having so we did not know if it was that or not... To say the least the end result was a major muscle spasm in my chest wall area which put my brain into Heart attack mode... I had a few days off and now I am back working, but doing very light duty things and due to my health I have backed down the days I am supervising the front end of our store from 6 days a week to just two and I am doing training with new hires which takes a lot of stress off of me not to mention the burn out factor... CC1

Yo Amazon, let's meet at my house or someplace in St. Andrews and we can make the ride together. Oz told me to tell ya what's up and he can't wait to see ya! This should be a lot of fun. Also the first shot is on me! Things are interesting at CC. You should call me...You big, beautiful _________ (please add your favorite expletive here)____________(and here)sweet baby you! LOL! Gotta bounce!! Holla at yo boy!

Carroll and Robyn: Glad you all are ok! Godspeed and prayers for good health!

Carroll asked that I post directions to Sandhills for folks coming from the upstate and low country.

From either direction, unless you are taking the back roads, take 26 to 20 East (Florence) passing through the dreaded Malfunction Junction.

You Charleston folks might prefer to take I-77 North (Charlotte) to I-20 East. It's faster, and more lovely and you get wonderful view of the city skyline as you pass over the Congaree.

Once on 20 East, enjoy the scenery of Truck Stops and Self-Storage Warehouses until you get to the Clemson Road exit.

Take the Clemson Road exit. At the top of the ramp, take a left on Clemson Road North.

Gawk at the growth.

Stay on Clemson Road North for approximately 2 1/2 miles. It narrows to two lanes and then widens back to four right before you pass over Two Notch Road.

You'll see the huge Village at Sandhills sign on your left. At the first light past the overpass, take a left into the Village at Sandhills.

Keep straight and head towards the new Belk and the as-yet unoccupied condos.

You'll hit the fountain traffic circle. Wild Wing is on your left at 10 o'clock.

Remember to yield to the traffic in the circle.

There is plenty of parking, either in front of the Belk, nose-in Five Points style, or around back behind the Wild Wing.

The entrance to Wild Wing is on the corner.

Smile and wave at the hostess.

Ask if she's seen an even more loud and obnoxious group of people than usual. Head in the direction she points.

Unless you have an iron-clad stomach, stay away from the Hot Shots appetizers. They aren't kidding when they say hot.

Yo Scott, Amazon, unfortunately I have a wedding reception scheduled and will not be able to attend. I gotta get paid! Maybe i'll see you guys on Friday night and we can get that tequila shot. Yo Scott did you ever find Rocke? And Amazon...you sweet___________(expletive...love ya, mean it!) holla back we gotta do lunch. Get out of the man cave and see the light of day!!!!

Nuts, and I was hoping that you would show up in order for me to say "thank you" for being one of the few people that got me interested in this crazy business (for better or worse ;D), despite you telling me way back in 1990 on WNOK's request line to don't do it! :D

I tried to get someone to pick up the party, but I think they will be at the party with you guys! Have a great time and somebody knock back a shot or two for me! While you guys are having a ball i'll be dealing with a so called wedding director who tells one thing, does another and tells the bride she told me something else...much love to Robyn and Carroll! Yo Scott and Amazon...holla at yo boy...you gots the digits!!!

I'm gonna try to make it. It's a bit of a haul from MB, but I'll do my best. Maybe I can dig up a couple of "Pirate 100.3" t-shirts before then.
