"Scan Button Bingo"

Yep. And two of those are Jacksonville. 600 and 690. The locals are 730, 910, 950, 1250, 1340, 1390, and 1450.

Three other stations are either off-air or much weaker (810, 980, 1480). Only 950 and 1250 don’t have an FM translator paired with it.

Charleston is one of the worst AM markets in the nation. Maybe 2-3% of the radio listenership goes to AM now. And most of it goes to 1250 WTMA.

Location Newark, NJ area.
Number of scan stops: 22, maybe 23.

Lowest channel: Either WBWD 540 from Islip, NY or 570 WMCA from New York.
Highest channel: 1660 WWRU Jersey City
Farthest Distance: 660 WFAN/880 WCBS at 19 miles or WBWD 540 at 49 miles.
