Scanning Binghamton radio over the weekend..

Upon my travels through the Twin Tiers over the weekend (Ok, Friday and Saturday), I found myself critiquing the DJs on various stations..

The most upbeat DJs I found was at the Whale. They sounded truly they wanted to be there! One DJ in particular, Thunder Reynolds sounded major market to me. (what the hell are you doing in Binghamton???) He's been there over 20 years!

The most boring was WMRV. Boy, when they read liner cards, they really do r-e-a-d liner cards..

Does Mix 103 live at all??? After listening for 1/2 hour, didn't hear any DJ?

The other stations seemed ok, nothing thrilling.

Thx for your time.

Your observatin about WMRV and its readers has been true for nearly twenty years, it seems.

99.1 The whale is pretty good, i listen to it when im in Dushore PA, visiting
