Schitts Creek coming to syndication on FOX stations.

I've been watching this on Netflix for a while. Great show! It will have to be sanitized a bit for OTA broadcast in the USA though.

Cable shows that were originally rated “TV-MA” on cable usually don’t work in broadcast syndication (see HBO’s “Entourage” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” as examples). The only one that was moderately successful was “South Park,” which was also syndicated by Debmar-Mercury. This one is tricky because its name can be pronounced as an obscenity on broadcast TV.

I would think if they film new episodes they would tone it down a little for FOX.

I've watched this show on cable. I've tried to like it. Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy are talented performers.
But frankly it does nothing for me.

Canadian series have not done very well on American TV since the SCTV days. Corner Gas lasted only a few
months on WGN America (and it's a fantastically funny series IMHO)

Corner Gas is now on IMDB TV, both the live action and animated versions. I just recently bought another Amazon Fire TV stick and discovered that.
