In a fraction of the time it took to hear them I was able to go to turnto10.com and view the same school cancellations in the same alphabetical order I heard them on WPRO this morning. Is it time to put this time-honored radio tradition to rest considering how long it takes to run them down every half hour compared to how little news ends up getting delivered in such abbreviated fashion?
I really think we have to realize not only with school cancellations but in other areas that too much of what is on the radio is a needless rundown of what people already know considering the resources available to them.Radio still has not learned this or refuses to accept it.
