Score to launch Spanish talk show

Why would the SCORE start a Spanish talk show when thier ratings in English are less than spectacular? Wouldn't make sense to improve the numbers in morning and afternoon drive before you start hiring people to do shows in another language?

The station doesn't get great 12+ but it does good enough in its target demo--at least that's what I've always heard.

All I could think of when I read about this (which is going to be on late Sunday nights, BTW) is that management has to have already spoken to Mike North about keeping his mouth shut about this show.

Hopefully North ignores them, flaps his yap and gets canned.

It may be in Spanish, but it'll probably still be better than either North, Mike Murphy, or the syndicated garbage the Score runs overnights and weekends.
 
Come on Mike North, keep talking about it, denounce it like it's no one's business.

C'Mon, make a few slurs and say a few of George Carlin's forbidden words over the air. Come on Mike, please do it. Do it early, and often, please..
