Scott Allen Miller Hangs Up on Invited Guest

This morning Scott Allen Miller on WRKO invited Eric Goldscheider on his show to discuss his website BenLaGuer.com.

Goldscheider has amassed a wealth of information and legal documents on his website regarding the LaGuer case. Some documents support LaGuer and some do not. They apparently go far beyond the DNA evidence which documents within the website demonstrate that the DNA evidence may well have been corrupted by incompetent local police and the local DA John ["I am a friend of Tom Reilly's ]Conte.

Of course, it was hard to hear Goldscheider with "Scooto" yelling at his invited guest and not allowing him to answer many of the questions he asked especially when he wasn't getting the "hang'em high" answers he expected from Goldscheider.

No pun intended but according to the evidence in the website the case is not as black and white as some would have you believe. In fact, the state Supreme Judicial Court [SJC] is reviewing the entire case to determine if there should be a new trial. Guess the questions must go beyond the fact that a jury member during trial deliberation said, "Well, he is a G**D**N SP*C. You know they F everything in sight. Why bother having a trial."

But back to the point. When Scott Allen Miller didn't get the negative answers he wanted from his invited guest he hung up on him.

Well, as his rating continue to sink like the proverbial Titanic it looks like his audience is hanging up on him as well.
 
What audience?

Miller is to radio as a root canal is to a trip to the dentist.

Casablanca, keep holding RKO's feet to the fire. Although I've got to say, Rush Limbaugh's new "Baghdad Bob" persona is hilarious. First time I've listened to 10 or 15 minutes of Rush in years. Now he's suddenly "pro gay" for Foley. Soon, Rush will be endorsing Spanish Tony as a major influence on the Rolling Stones. Maybe he'll even have one of the Exile On Main Street authors on (there are 3 books on the album out currently). Spanish Tony was the dealer made famous by Marianne Faithul in her song Lady Madeline.
 
"Scooto" hung up not on a "caller" but an invited guest. Usually that means the producer called the guest.

I heard part of that interview because everything else I listen to was in commercial and I went back to the commercials after about two minutes. What a horrid host. The guest wasn't that great either, but as 'host' you would hope that Miller would rise above it.

Looks like you're wrong again, as usual. His audience shares over the past four rating periods have not varied more than 0.3%. BTW, those are actual Arbitron numbers (sorry, can't quote them here), not what you make up out of nothing.

They get along just fine without you.
 
The Joe Vig Shuffle is the only way to listen to radio today. Instant Gratification unavailable during commercial breaks.

No, I think I was pretty clear, the shows I normally listen to were all in commercial so I was surfing around. Why not address the opinion stated in the post rather than dancing around it trying to drag Joe V. into the conversation so the topic can get derailed?… Opps, think I just answered my own question. You have no defense for poor hosting so you look to derail. Grow some pride. ::)
 
I know I'm one of three people in this market that listens to Air America :p but I'm grateful for their podcasts that I can listen to commercial free on my MP3 player. The years premium was a gift... a good gift, as it turns out.

I got tired of the endless commercial breaks. I know that's how they do business but I prefer the other way..

back to the Scotto/WRKO bashing.

I never have claimed to be or try and act like a referee or anything on here like you do. Just callin it like I see it..
