Scott Ferrall leaves CBS Sports Radio

That's too bad. He is an entertaining sports host.

He does talk a lot about betting on his show, though. His new gig will be right up his alley, I suppose.

Haven't heard him in awhile. Does he still do that annoying, stuttering "Porky Pig on crack" voice during his show?

Going to miss his show at night. His show was so good I couldn't listen to anyone else. Going to be hard to find a replacement to listen to

I never could get used to his voice.

Ditto. Is it real or a shtick? I remember when WFAN briefly plugged him into the overnight slot and there was much negative reaction -- some because he wasn't local, but quite a bit because of that voice and delivery.

I used to think Mad Dog Russo's voice was part of his shtick, too, but apparently that's the way he talks away from the mic, too. I'm not sure about Adam Schein, another Noo Yawker who has a show on Chris' SiriusXM channel. His delivery seems forced and unnatural.

Ferrall himself said it was the way his voice naturally sounded. His first night on the air on CBS Sports Radio he said that.
