I wonder if that means any change in responsibilities. It might be a promotion mainly to recognize his tremendous success at Star. What a great job he's done.

I'm guessing after the June PPM, the search to replace Ray might not have as much urgency. In fact, I wonder whether the ratings at all changed Scott's thinking on the kind of person he should hire. With Cindy carrying the show so well, I'm thinking they won't want someone with a strong personality who might rock the boat.
 
One monthly PPM is going impact a pds decision on a morning show?! If the answer is yes, fire the pd. we're talking 1 or 2 shifting panel members here. The addiction to these ARB guess-timates is nuts. Scott's thinking way beyond a monthly.
