Scott Mastellar Joins WPEN-FM As Program Director

Interesting choice. Someone with 45 yrs experience and in semi-retirement doesn't bode well for a long career at WPEN. What does this type of hire say? It has been noted that Beasley does well enough with the station not to flip it. Could he be a caretaker for a future hire or mentor for a current employee to take the reigns in due time.

When will Jon Marks return home?

Their last two PD hires were both disasters. The station is in bad shape programming wise. My guess is Masteller goes in for a couple of years and tries to re-set the station and get them back on track.
