Scott Sams joins KRLD-AM

Interesting...so if he went from CBS 11 to KRLD, did CBS have to cut him a new contract? I thought his old one expired, and that's why he is no longer on CBS 11.

And if Uncle Barky is correct, is KRLD dropping mid-day talk? "All news, all day" is their new moniker?
 
KRLD has been "All News, All Day" for awhile. The Midday (9a to 1p) is anchored by Scott Braddock & Mitch Carr. Bonnie Petrie & David Rankin take over at 1.
 
With their Arbitron they have to be careful to limit their hiring or they may end up with all their listeners in the control room...
 
I love it when Chuck Schatner (sp) tries to sign off one of his pieces. He can't pronounce "radio" to save his life.

That drives me crazy also! Comes of as:

"Shuck Scheckner, noozezrado taaaty, Corr-ell-ed."

So much for butchering the King's English!
 
It's Schechner, and few on this board are worthy to even carry his mic cable.
As for Scott, good on him. It's nice to see someone with talent, skills, experience and a decent set of pipes working on air these days.
