Check the little blurb in today's Dallas News (Fri 4/7.) He'll anchor there. Strange that no one would touch him in DFW. I'm sure after 18 months of being off work, his price was very negotiable. Good luck, Scott!!

Great news for Scott and the Sherman/Denison area. He is one of the best anchors a market could have, just a shame noone here didnt take a stab at keeping the guy in the market.

Happy to here he is getting back on the air. Hopefully after a little time on the air there, he will find some interest back in the DF/W market.

Yeah DFW gets to keep Morticia and the new "do". The office pool is saying 25 to 1 her new marriage will last only 18 months.

Nah, give li'l Morticia a break. The marriage has already survived two major incidents: One, he refused to change his last name to "Conomos," and two, he finally gave in and signed the pre-nup she'd written up. Only things left on the table to resolve are him renoucing his Idaho citizenship and becoming an honorary Greek citizen, and two, to murder Scott Sams.

It looks like Scott decided to dye his hair (at least looking at the pic on the KTEN site) and I have to say, it does look pretty good. On a side note, I worked with Scott at WFAA and thought he was one of the nicest people there. Hopefully things will work out for him at KTEN.

KTVT should hire him. He is a well known name,and face. He does well in the mornings,and can do the weather as well. He may be a snob in some respects but hey he was certaintly right about "Morticia'?Alexis. Have you seen their noon news lately? Barney is more informative.
 
I have been getting my morning and noon news over on Channel 4. Only watch Channel 8 at 5, 6 or 10PM.

If Sams ends up at Channel 11 I am sure I will give him a try, being in the same age group I always liked the life references he brought up.
