Sad, I always liked Scott. He seemed a little stiff on the morning show though. I used to watch Scott back in the late 70's at WLKY in Louisville and of course on WFAA.

I'm not sure if you meant that as a joke or what, but he would be an absolute asset to Sherman and Denison!
 
The joke being that when DFW anchors get fired, they wind up in Sherman-Denison (as Scott Sams and I believe Mike Snyder did for a short time).
 
Sorry to see him go. Thought he was an asset to ch's 8 & 11.
