Scott Sams Visiting CBS11??

Heard a juicy one here today....It appears scott sams was paying a visit to the CBS11 studios in Ft. Worth the other day, meeting with folks and chewing the fat. Could this mean he maybe back in D/FW television?? It seems plausible as Jody Dean will be dedicating time to KLUV mornings, could it be that sam may be back in the news saddle again? Id like to hear your thoughts on this.

Working for Belo these days, ain't what it used to be. He just will join the line of folks that have made the move from the Belo building, over to "Cowtown"... Tracy, Kristine, and maybe Scott. As George Strait once said, "Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind?"

Does KTVT still broadcast from Fort Worth? I know they have facilities near Central and Walnut Hill (I normally stay at the La Quinta next door, when I'm in town), but that looks like a very small building.<P ID="signature">______________

The Walnut Hill & Central building is mostly sales with a small news bureau.

11's got nice digs on I-30, west of the Ballpark, oops, Ameriquest Field. As for Scott, he's probably checking passports to for nationalities...

Well, whatever the case, It'll be good to see scott back on. I hope that he'll take the high road this time when it comes to dealing with fellow employees (if any of the rumors are true).

This is off topic a bit but when the new Cowboys stadium is built Ch. 5 & Ch. 11 will only be a few miles down the road. The stadium is practically on the Arlington - Fort Worth border.

Ms: to reply, yes he is pretty enough for CBS11 AMs

Jeff: It sets up an interesting situation. Will their sports departments become better with this? Who knows..

Look, Sams could've been the biggest prick around. If he brought in ratings he would've stayed at 8. He was brought in when he was a good looking guy. Get the female audience. Well, he gained a little weight, got a little old and lost the women audience. So long Sams. Steve Blow's article made him look like a saint and we should all feel sorry for him. In real life the dude is a prick. If anyone was smart enough they wouldn't let him back on the air. Firing Sams was one of the best moves 8 has ever made.
