Scott Sams

He has been MIA for a couple weeks from the morning show on CBS11... anyone know what happened? 2+ weeks of vacation at once is kinda rare for a TV anchor.

Maybe vacation

It's post-sweeps month...not too unusual for an anchor to take some time off. Pretty common in December. But yeah, two weeks is kinda excessive.

OK, how long until someone posts, "So what does this have to do with radio?" ::)

I thought about that before posting but does anyone really read the Texas TV thread?

Part One: I've been wondering where he was too.

Part Two: Around 0430 weekday mornings I often have CBS 11 TV & WBAP Radio on at the same time. ;D It's a stretch, but if there needs to be a radio connection. ;D

I think I remember Scott from WLKY 32 in Louisville when he was a skinny beanpole. The weather person was Angie Humphries

What is this?

The Scott Sams' Man Crush Club?

Scott Sams used to be a popular news anchor here in Knoxville, TN years and years ago (early 80s or so). He's originally from the Knoxville area and started his career here. Hopefully, he'll be back and is doing fine.
