Scott Studios TLC Dongles for Sale

Another post on this site got me digging around some old equipment I had stored away and I found four Scott Studios / Google Trim, Label and Convert Dongles (software license keys). I'll sell them for $750 each or best offer. They used to go for a grand. I also have the last version of the software. Add another production system to your existing SS32 setup. Message me for more info.

Why wouldn't it be legal to sell them? Dave made his money off it already. Since they're being sold for less than originally purchase price ($1k is correct, as I have one purchased at that price), and they're original equipment, there should be no problem. TLC won't work without the dongle, so it's like removing software from one computer and installing it on another. Only one computer at a time.

Actually, TLC will work without the dongle. The dongle enables the ripping & formatting function. TLC will run in "lite" mode without the dongle, which makes it suitable to basic recording into the SS system.

This is correct. As far as we're concerned, the only benefit to having the dongle is that TLC will convert mp3 audio directly. Without the dongle, you must uncovert the mp3's using an outboard programming. Which, as far as I'm concerned, is just fine, because I can batch covert a bunch of files, walk away, and come back and put them in normally.
