The worst morning show I have ever heard(outside of ozone) in Boston just left Albany after less than 1 year. Scotto working the magic once again. The ultimate fraud.
Maybe he can live off his band? I love Howie but never understood the scotto thing with RKO. He cannot handle Albany yet RKO had him on in the morning.

His wife landed a great teaching job in Westchester so he's moving down there to be with her and the kids by Labor Day.
More talk radio opportunities for him in NY Metro than Albany or even Boston.
 
He announced on his blog months ago that he was leaving to be with his family. I guess they are doing the long distance thing and with young children it's not the ideal situation. I guess now that the wife has a secure teaching position, he is going to follow her for the sake of her career and the good of the family.

I wish him well

Give the guy a break. Compared to Finneran, Scotto's another Rush Limbaugh (or even, based on their far superior ratings, Eagen and Braude)
 
Why the Scotto hate? He made penuts, and his ratings were just as good as Finneran. Hard to say what happened in Albany, as all Scotto would say is that he was moving. Wish him the best, if nothing else he can always be a Fox Radio fill in again.
