Actually, a post promoting a competing discussion board is a violation of R-I rules, and would be summarily deleted as well.

But you knew I'd say that.

OK, that's just silly. Why would such a rule exist? You already have links to all kinds of radio related websites, and many of them have forums. What competition? You guys making money out of where people post? The board isn't going to the dogs, but the operators are starting to sound like they are running a cult. Don't drink the kool-aid!

That is an easy question to answer, actually.

Asking us to provide a link is different from posting what amounts to an ad for a board in the discussion area.

The first is working with the management, the second is considered spam.

What a bunch of twisted rationale, hypocritical horseshit.

By the way, I made sure I didn't violate "Rule 5". I'm not attacking you, I'm questioning your concept.

With the untimely death of one of the owners Radio-Info.com will probably go by the wayside anyway, especially with the autocratic attitudes which is putting a real "chilling effect" on the dialogue which it is supposed to be promoting.

Re: Privately Owned Gossip and Speculation Board.

Yea, so Mr. pouser tell us about your track record?
Why criticize Radio-Info, you ought to ashasmed of yourself
as one of the founders just passed away this week. Of course,
by using the word "hater" it's obvious you are some less than
educated kid.

Gossip and Speculation

hey, man- you may have a few points in your diatribe but your timing sucks.

Timing may be everything but in this case, you are nothing.

You are entitled to your opinion, but that is the way it was explained to me by the owners. You remember them ... they are the ones I answer to, although sadly there is now one less of them.

I have the suspicion that people who really have a quarter-million income don't talk about it on message boards. Nor do they list possessions gratuitously.

Nor do "uneducated kids" get into that income bracket legally.
