"Former TRL host Damien named weekender at KIIS
There has been some speculation that Damien is standing in the on-deck circle to take over morning drive if KIIS and Ryan Seacrest don’t come to contractural terms in the next few months"

Do you think he would really walk away from that show???
 
I mentioned a few weeks ago that he might be leaving...Wouldn't suprise me if he leaves. KIIS has torn that show to shreds.

Huh? Ever since the show tightened up in mid-2009, it has been #1 or #2 18-34 and 18-49 in the mornings!
 
Seacrest has bigger fish to fry. It seems with all his new projects, the radio thing just isn't fitting in.
There's a good chance that he might leave the morning slot on KIIS and just focus on his syndicated show that is basically a watered down version of the morning show with a lot more slots for music. The new syndicated show might move to afternoons or to sister station 104.3 where it might have a better fit.
But I have a feeling that they're gonna need Damien in another department, not neccessarily to take over mornings. KIIS FM and CC can do much better in finding bigger named talent, especially if they plan to syndicate the show
