Seahawks Gameday on Q13 FOX on Sunday 10/5

I hope for KCPQ's sake that the field rep at the FCC office in Seattle isn't a Seahawks fan... $7,000 is expensive!

Considering the show is nothing but a revenue thing anyway, the same reason there's an 88 hour pre-game show on radio before Seahawk games, $7,000 wouldn't matter much. When it comes to things like the f-bomb, it's the license renewal that would be more of a factor.

But then again in order for the FCC to investigate, someone must file a formal complaint. This isn't Janet's nipple or George Carlin's seven dirty words, and I doubt anything will become of this.

Let's also get something straight too "Janet's nipple" was NOT a big deal at all, it was an overreaction by a conservative administration that panders to the religious zealots in this country.
You had to pause the halftime show, rewind and pause at the right time to actually see it and besides that, a nipple is something we ALL have! The fact that we oversexualize breasts, bare breasts at that has had a chilling effect on the broadcast industry, it changed how stations broadcast going forward, as someone who was working on a show at a hot talk station geared towards men I can speak to it's effect and it wasn't good.
Corporate hysteria ensued almost immediately, the day after that Superbowl we were inundated with memo's, new directives, what was safe to say and what wasn't, we were figuritively strangled and from then on there were daily emails, meetings and memo's that what you said at this time or that wasn't allowed.
There were dump buttons in the GM's office, situated at their desk, within reach so if they heard something they didn't like they would dump it, you were no longer given the control of your own show and while I understand it wasn't MY broadcast license which was worth millions of dollars at stake but really if you didn't have the faith in your people to do what was right why have them in position to potentially damage your company?
NONE of this is an exaggeration, ALL is true and anyone who worked with me at the time can attest to it, I just hope going forward the FCC uses it's authority to go after TRUE indecent culprits and not those who wish to push the envelope in entertainment but also know where the line is to be drawn otherwise radio will go down faster than you can say FCC.

It is hard to hear just exactly what she said.

Just for fun, I did google her to see what came up. A couple of interesting blog comments popped up, which would lead one to believe that her personality may be of the nature that her language may include words and phrases including the "F" bomb.

Some attractive photos are floating around the web of her. You will be disappointed if you are expecting nudes, because those just aren't what you will find.

Anyone who can manage to slip that out and continue their segment without missing a beat is a damn good broadcaster.

She is my Television Hero.
