Sean Hannity, coast to Coast AM /WPHT AM 1210

I would very much like WPHT to run Hannity live from 3-6 PM Monday-Friday now, instead of airing Dick Morris. Morris is a determent to the station and not helping in the ratings and also air Coast to Coast AM, live for all hours, 7 nights a week, because overall, they are still flat in the 12+ If management can't even do that, then they should drop talk for sports or moving KYW to 1210

Who else could pick up CTCAM, I think WIP should switch with WPHT, put all sports on WPHT and make WIP the talker, 24/7. WIP should sound like the old 106.9, same lineup but with CTCAM added. Local morning, then Rush, Hannity, Levin and CTCAM. I still cannot understand why 1210 and 94.1 run the Phillies together, makes no sense.

I am shocked .... SHOCKED! Julius, I had no idea you felt that way.

Coast to Coast AM is streamed online and aired on 12 Class I AM stations including WOR. If you want to hear it, you can.
Sean Hannity is also streamed online and aired on WOR. If you want to hear it, you can.

Limbaugh Hannity Beck Ratings Are In The TANK in Raleigh Durham WTKK FM 106.1 With a 2.1 Share OUCH!

If WPHT were to flip to Sports, a move which you have advocated for many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many times here, where would you get Hannity and C2C AM then?

Maybe they should move Coast To Coast AM to morning drive. Part of a healthy breakfast featuring alien spacecraft landings and conspiracy theories. Just the thing to wake up to. Might start a trend.

Not a bad idea...

An entire blog dedicated to detailing one person's thoughts on WPHT.

That needs to be repeated for posterity's sake: an entire blog dedicated to detailing one person's thoughts on WPHT.

I wish I had that kind of nothing going on in my life. Must be nice.

Most MLB teams want to be on FM, as well as on the far-reaching, old-fashioned 50,000-watt AMs. Why the latter, in the year 2014, I'm not sure. Perhaps being able to promote that at least one feed is in real-time for fans at the park remains important.

Unlike Greater Media, CBS of course is the only company here that can accommodate both.

As for "Coast" and "Hannity" all I can say is, well, I've pretty much lost all sympathy for all those who are missing out on the shows they love because they think broadcast radio (AM/FM, you know, with towers and transmitters and licenses) is the only way to hear aural programming. I can hear just about ANY show I want, for free, on the same mobile device I have with me everywhere anyway. And the audio is much better than the IBOC-ridden trash that's littering the remnants of AM radio.

I'm now going to go back to listening to Bill Cunningham, whose show hasn't been cleared in Philly since 'IQ went away. Not that that fact has had any impact on me.

Another reason for that: secondary coverage in case the primary station has a schedule conflict. A few years back, when the Detroit Tigers first moved to FM, their flagship station was still contracted to carry other things during certain game times, so the team also contracted with an AM station in Detroit and simulcast most games for a season or two. Of course, that AM station had prior contracts, as well, so there were a couple of games that were aired only on the regional network and not on ANY station in Detroit itself. Their FM flagship has an exclusive contract now, so that's no longer an issue, but it's not hard to see what that example alone would prompt some teams to keep both sides of the dial as options just in case.

After 8 years of Dubya supposedly being behind 9/11, Katrina, Global Warming, etc. I think we've had our fill, thank you.
