anyone recall Sean King from WLOF years ago? real name was Fred Klein. In radio in Pa. and elsewhere he was Fred King. he passed away this summer. great top 40 jock and a great guy!
Fred was a major contributor to our web site www.cflradio.net. We have lots of info about him and loads of photos he supplied and finally his obituary too.
I think Fred (Sean) was at WLOF in the 70's/ 80's. I knew him in his home area of Harrisburg,Pa, where he was a legend on top40 radio in the 60's--- WSBA,WFEC, WLAN.
/quote] Fred Klein/Sean King/Fred King--- worked later in the 70's/80's then at Cape Canaveral area stations I'm sure. Fred hated winter. He came back to Pa. later. He passed away this summer in Lancaster,Pa. (Parkinson's)
I knew Fred quite well..He worked down the street from me when I was at WRKT and he was at WKKO in Cocoa..In fact, I bought his old vintage 72 Jag XKE..Man that thing could burn some oil!
