SEAN -- We have our answer!!

One of the questions about Sean was: When is he going to anchor?

Well, we have our answer. I just saw a promo that Sean and Christina will anchor on Sunday nights at 10pm. I will try to stay up and check it out tonight.

And he did the weather, too! Wow, what a multipurpose, versatile person -- the weatherman who also co-anchors the news!

I noticed that the weekend weather guy was in on Friday night. So, then, is it official that Sean is going to work Sunday through Thursday??? KPHO is definitely on the rise. I love the 10pm show with "News Hawk 5 traveling around the valley searching for Breaking News".

Kaley O'Kelly has been co-hosting the ABC15 news while still doing weather during the 5-6 am program. She has been doing it for at least a year.

I know this because I am the only person who is watches KNXV!

Brian -- hang in there man. Hope ABC-15's compensating you!
Actually I think Kaley's Aunt Edna watches too -- when no one is looking and the shades are drawn. But she still refuses to watch the evening newscasts. :D

I hope it was clear that I was being slightly sarcastic about Sean -- they're promoting him like he's Superman or something! ;)

A number of stations around the country do the dual weather-news anchor thing, particularly on the weekend am shows. KOMO in Seattle and WCMH in Columbus come immediately to mind. It's kind of that 2 for 1 deal! Now, KPHO has mainstreamed it with the Sunday pm shows.
