Search isn’t working

in the meantime, a very good workaround is to type this into google:
site:radiodiscussions.com " " with whatever you want to search in the quotation marks.

For instance: site:radiodiscussions.com "KHJ"
Google is pretty good about finding very old RD threads and posts. I even come across postings I made under my original account from 2003-06, before The Great Schism of 2006 forced me to create my current account.

That, it does, find old threads/posts, that is.

I have fantastic news for you!

I'm authorized to offer you not only a full refund of everything you've spent on membership here, I can actually double that for your trouble.

:D) Great response!

I need you to fix the search. There’s no point to this website if that doesn’t work. Thanks for nothing.

Gee, with such a wonderful attitude, I wonder why @lanceventa hasn't deemed this worthy of a response.

You need him to fix search? The site is totally useless without it? How is it that I can come here daily and never find it to be totally devoid of value? And, as @fybush points out, "nothing" is what you are actually owed, based on your not being charged to access this seemingly useless site?

We give you a free lunch, but because we used the wrong type of bread for your sandwich, you want your non-existent payment back?

I have a feeling I know where Mr. "I've been a member for three days and made the same number of posts" is going to end up.

I’m having trouble, too. For example, I typed in KRTH to test it out. It took forever to load and it eventually timed out on me.

I’m using Safari on iOS 26.3 on an iPhone 15. My WiFi connection is 500 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, so I think we can rule out my internet as the culprit, at least in my case.

Is anyone else having this problem with Safari on an iPhone? If so, my guess is that something in the forum software is not playing nice with Safari.

THANK YOU

Oh now I'm supposed to know when every post is made even when I'm on a cross-country flight with shaky wifi? KM, please stop answering questions for me... I can speak for myself...

I was just piling on to what Scott posted.

You hit the nail on the head!

I know this. I do a lot of searches that are totally unrelated to this site and get old threads I didn't even remember.

That happens to me a lot, too. I think once your post total is in the multiple thousands (and I still have posts in the database here under two previous accounts) you tend to forget a lot of what you posted years ago.

Wait ... what day is it again? 😉
