Hi, I'm Jay Ferguson. I was searching for some former co-workers from WPLO Atlanta, and it lead me here to your discussion page. I didn't find what...who I was looking for, but enjoyed the reading! When I was at WPLO I did afternoons, I had a news guy named Dave Warner. Dave was from Ohio, I believe. When I left and came back home to Indiana, we lost touch. I don't hold much hope for finding him, I was about 24 then...(61 now) and he had several years on me. We had "Collins in the Morning", Johnny Grey, me, and Jerry Paxson all starting on the same date. "Atlanta's Country Station." What a great time for a young kid like me! Neil McGinley was our program director, and Norman Schrutt our GM. It was around 1984. Love the forums!
