Searching for a former radio colleague

I am a 40 year radio guy, but a newbie on this board/site. GREAT stuff!

I am searching for an old friend who I worked with in Bakersfield. His name is Bill Stone. He left Bakersfield and went to KNX-FM for a short-lived stint. He then went up to Monterey and then to San Jose. I lost track of him after that. He also worked at KYNO in Fresno, I believe. This was all back in the late 60's to early 70's.

Is it appropriate to post this 'search' on the California radio board?

You may also wish to try the Central California board, the San Francisco board and the Los Angeles board.
