Nice to see stations sponsoring events. Now what plans do local stations have for holiday programming on the air? Apart from the schlocky music on KWRM and KCMS. Anybody do a reading of A Christmas Carol? Solstice specials? Live coverage New Years Eve? Choirs? Comedy?
I know KPLU picks up a little bit of the public radio specials (there's a whole lot of really good national holiday specials that I really miss hearing here since KUOW doesn't air any of it). Anybody know what's playing on the Seattle area dial that's "special" this time of year?
