Seattle Talent Makes a Comeback

Marty R. is back on KMTT in Afternoons, Fisher returns to mornings on KMTT, Bob Rivers coming to KJR-FM, Scott V. on KZOK in the morning, jubal to movin. Out of town talent or automation in the case of KJR-FM being replaced with live and local. Seems Seattle radio didn't get the memo that talent doesn't matter in PPM :)

Perhaps someone can lure Gary Lockwood out of retirement. Hell, even Larry Lujack got bored and tried a Chicago comeback. Unfortunately, it never really worked out for Lar. Nevermind!

Your point notwithstanding, KJR FM is currently both live and local on what talking occurs in AM drive.

True, but it's not what people on this board wants, thus it doesn't count.

Now bring back Mr. West and it'll be another step towards the good station it was and getting listeners back.

Mike West is – by far – the most talented radio person without a full-time gig in this market.
Mike West is great, but I would put Steve Slaton up there. (Who, BTW IMHO, will return this year.)

Guess you CAN go home after all. Congrats to Marty! Oh, and AQH - why so bitter?

Indeed if this is what Marty really wanted and is happy then I see it as a win win for everyone, certainly KMTT should benefit from his return as well as the adjustments to their playlist.

And hey he is going to keep the MRS podcast going which for his loyalist of fans is a bonus.

Congrats Marty we love what you do buddy ;D
