Seaview Radio 960/95.9/106.9

Caught this the other day for the first time in a while and was pleasantly surprised. Some changes have been made recently.

The satellite and the MOYL are gone (although the satellite jocks are still listed on the web page). Running jockless (outisde of am drive) with a interesting mix of oldies/lite rock/classic AC. Longform (presumably paid) programming still runs at least weekends. Not sure about if still runs nights.

The morning show is local and fairly decent. The jingle package they're running is really good (There's a GREAT one for the am show based on the Folger's commerical - "The best part of waking up is....."

Like I said, musically, it's an interesting mix. Heard Brook Benton & Dinah Washington "Baby, You've Got What It Takes" this morning. Here's today's 4:30-5pm:

Petula Clark-"Downtown"
==business news update==
Eagles-"Peaceful Easy Feeling"
Eddie Rabbitt-"I Love A Rainy Night"
==stopset==
Styx-"Babe"
Johnny Rivers-"Summer Rain"
Chicago-"Hard Habit To Break"

It is locally programmed now. Good station and decent people behind the scenes. The AM has quite a signal for 2400 watts.
