Just thought I'd post to mention that a number of channels have elected/will be making elections for new digital channels following the digital transition.
Some that have already elected:
KVIE-6/53 (PBS) Sacramento, CA, which has elected channel 9.
KESQ-42/52 (ABC) Palm Springs, CA, which has elected channel 50.
These stations either elected Friday, or will be making elections Monday. The FCC site should list all stations' elections by Tuesday, at which time I will update:
KAJB-54/50 (TeleFutura) Calipatra/El Centro, CA
KRCA-62/68 (Spanish) Riverside/Los Angeles, CA
KTNC-42/63 (Azteca) Concord/Sacramento/San Francisco, CA
KTFK-64/62 (TeleFutura) Stockton/Sacramento, CA
KTVU-2/56 (Fox) Oakland/San Francisco, CA
KRON-4/57 (Ind) San Francisco, CA
KFTY-50/54 (Ind) Santa Rosa, CA
