Does anybody have any Fifties-era radio station charts (a/k/a "surveys" or Top Forty sheets) from the Fifties (or earlier!), from any radio station licensed to Oregon? I am a serious collector, and I am willing to pay QUITE well for even just one of these - the older the better. (NOTE: KISN had charts in 1959, but they were actually a Washington station at Vancouver, so it's not an integral part of this request, though I'm still interested.)
My understanding is that KPOJ1330 and KXL750 were among the rock-and-rollers in the Fifties (I think KEX was the other), but I know nothing about Fifties formats outside of Portland. Even if you have a chart you cannot get rid of, I would love to have the information that the chart existed.
I seek any such charts in ANY form, as long as they're original, and in a form that was sanctioned for LOCAL publication by the station in question. In other words they can be "like" the sheets KISN used to have in the Sixties, or a cheap Ditto or Mimeograph sheet, or (I'd REALLY like this type...) the week's Top Ten that was reported to and published in a local newspaper.
This is an Oregon board, but my search is WORLDWIDE for Fifties, but I don't need ALL fifties. For example, it will be nearly impossible for me to need anything from Houston, San Francisco, Milwaukee, Chicago, Cleveland or Washington DC. I'm going to an Oregon board because I have nothing at all from the 50s from Oregon (or NV, ID, MT, WY, NM for that matter). If I need something, though, I'll make it worth your while!
