Seeking Otari Hubs

My Boss Gary Taylor once said to me NAB hubs, does the RAB have their own hubs?😄

I ordered 10 OTARI MX 50-50's after we returned the 10 Studer reel to reel machines my Operations Manager ordered. Horrible machines. Loved the OTARI's! Would have loved to order 10 Sony MCI's if they still had been making them. Quirky but great machines

I own an MX5050 BIII but always liked those Studer machines. To me it's like putting a Nissan up against a Mercedes. They'll both get you there but the German one feels more refined, although it's probably also more of a headache to maintain.

Those Studer models were great for mastering. However for general everyday use with a large staff, and possibly better every day dependability, the Otari was easier to use and a darn good machine. Did find a great Studer video
