Would anyone happen to have a copy of anything by a fellow named Larry Miller, who helped usher in underground radio with an all-night freeform show on KMPX FM 107 in San Francisco back in 1967-68?
There is only one known aircheck of Larry -- a twelve-minute piece that he says is not truly representative of his show, which actually pre-dated the arrival of Tom Donahue at the station. (Most people believe that "Big Daddy" created the format at the station.)
If you could scour your collections, I would be very grrateful.
By the way, Larry Miller is still around, teaching broadcasting at the New England Institute of Art.
Thanks!
D.J.
