Passing the WMID tower today I noticed a new four bay replacing the older two bay for the Buzz. It looks like a nice placement, good balance, neat and even to the ground. Did 99.3 increase their power or coverage, the four bay looks very impressive. On another note, WMID is in the same boat as WHAT, at night, they just about make it to the Parkway and Route 30, which is under 10 miles from Murray Avenue. They seem to have the same lame coverage as WHAT at night, except along the coast where the seawater helps them gain some area. And on another note, why do they still use the 1230 frequency as Classic Oldies.

Somewhere else on these boards, it has been mentioned about "graveyard frequencies", two of which being 1340 and 1230. 1230 is still using ABC's "Timeless" format from Da Bird (their standards format, which has morphed into modern day MOR).

Good catch on the new 4-bay. They just replaced the array with new ERIs, you'll notice the coverage up north is not as good, but the southern coverage is GREAT... BTW 'ZXL is now on ERIs also.....
