Seether on CHR?

I saw on yes.com that CHR station WIXX in Green Bay played Tonight by Seether. Are any other CHRs playing Seether?

Go look up WSTW or WPST - both CHR's playing a lot of rock.

I've always thought Seether sounded good on CHR. Sirius/XM's 20on20 has tried to push Seether several times ("The Gift", "Rise Above This", "Breakdown", "Careless Whisper", "Country Song" and "Tonight"). They'd be on my ideal CHR, along with Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman and other rock bands.

Personally, Active Rock is a format "corrupted" by classic rock. The demo appeal for Classic Rock and demo appeal for New Hard Rock are completely different, merging them is silly.

This is why 979X Hazleton is a great example of what Active Rock should be ...

WIXX/Green Bay plays stuff like that all the time though - for some reason, people in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan love hearing rock on CHR - it's been that way for at least a decade

I'm starting to wonder if rock will ever come back on mainstream CHR. And I mean somewhat 'edgy' rock, not stuff like Foster The People, Train, etc...

I mean, once-powerful acts like Daughtry and Nickelback can't even get CHR traction anymore...the All American Rejects, who had a #1 rock hit on CHR just a few years ago, aren't really getting a lot of support, either.

I recently heard "Country Song" on KLAL Little Rock "Alice 107.7" 2-3 months ago. They are more friendly to rock product than most CHRs.

WSTW (Still lists themselves as a CHR, still CHR in Arbitron and Mediabase) actually played Seether a few months ago, like when the song originally came out. WSTW is a "Pop/Rock CHR" to be honest.

They'll play Good Feeling by Flo Rida, then Dev "in the Dark", then maybe "I write sins, not tragedies", then go back to "The Wanted, glad you came".

They're not afraid to play rock, which is a good thing about them.

Why BBM moved them down is because during it's lunch hour, it'll play songs from the 90's, it's a call in request lunch hour. In a way; it's a Catch 22 for WSTW.
