Seinfeld/Christine

How many stations do this?

WJZY in Charlotte, NC pairs "Seinfeld" with "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and advertises them together.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was the first to break the Seinfeld curse and have a show succeed.

Now all we need is for a cable network to pair up "Listen Up" with "The Michael Richards Show" every week. :D

Maybe My Network TV can try it... it certainly couldn't hurt their case... "Burn Notice" reruns can only carry you so far...

I wish that was the case, as I'd like fresh blood in the late fringe hours here in Los Angeles. "Christine" doesn't air until 1:30am on KTLA, though. "Seinfeld" airs at 10 and 10:30pm on KCOP.

LOL!
Maybe Michael Richards and Malcolm-Jamal Warner can do local spots together!

I don't see much synergy between the 2 shows, other than the obvious (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Seinfeld is a classic, while Christine is...uh...not. Yes, it broke the "Seinfeld Curse," but that's only because it didn't totally suck like The Michael Richards Show and Listen Up.

A much better idea would be to pair Seinfeld with the recently syndicated Curb Your Enthusiasm. In many ways, Curb in the successor to Seinfeld - same sensibility - particularly the same cynicism and jaundiced view of people and society.

And it also helps that Larry David is involved with both "Curb" and "Seinfeld."

WGN airs both "Curb" and "Old Christine." You'd think they'd pair those shows together and try and build on a "Seinfeld" tie between the two shows, but apparently not. It's more likely "Old Christine" on WGN will run opposite "Seinfeld" on TBS.

I like the NAoOC, but it's kind of the same as Seinfeld.

Jerry and Elaine, former lovers, now get on well

Christine and Richard divorced, now get on well

Kramer, tall skinny guy with werid hair. Matthew, tall skinny guy with weird hair.

Best friends George and Barb are different though

All the characters on both shows are over detached and mean in a comical sort of way.

I like OAoNC but it's not Seinfeld by any measure

Two unrelated stations where I live have "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Since the one has "Seinfeld" and didn't seem to want the other, I guess that pairing is out. Besides, the dirtier show is on very late.
