What do you think,, play it or skip it.. I like the song but i shy away from Disney artists, but ive had MSGed asking why im not playing this song.. Are you guys playing,, should I daypart it to the time of day that kids are listening and see how it goes,, The way I test songs is,, if I play sometthing and my listener stats plummet then I know ive picked up a turd. And although not a dance record at all the song from Gucci and Usher-Spotlight tests very well. IDK....Scratches head,, ive already decided im going to skip BEP Imma be unless it comes out with a good dance version and gets top 10 on mediabase. Also what is your take on making your own edits for mixes that are just too long,,,, Is this legal??????

it depends on what you are trying to achieve with the sound of your station. Almost all of the FMQB reporting internet stations are/have played the record. While some of the FM's have decided not to. My personal belief from the first time I heard the mixes was that this was a smash and if it came in as a white label with no artist listed every station would play it.

It's been a big record for my station including many weeks as a power.

IMMA Be is annoying in original form but ive heard some sick mixes of it that ive checked into.. Im gonna test both records in B rotation for now,, they will either go to A rotation or be dropped. I havent yet decide which remixes to add,, I will sleep on it...

I rather loved hearing Selena Gomez "naturally" the first time I heard it on Kiss FM a month ago, although the instrumentation is somewhat rather quasied out. It's not something I miss when I don't hear it, and I never thought "oh boy I've got to use this in a mix immediately!" when it comes to her song, but it does sound nice on the radio. As far as "I'mma be", I used to not care for that song, but just recently, I started feeling it.

OH.. well, I'm not sure if I would play it or skip it personally, and I'm also not sure where it is on the charts, but if I had to decide today, I'd just add it, just because it's something that does represent the dance sound on the charts that has a decent rhythm to it. It's always good, even if it's only played for two weeks or so. I call quick short time dancey airplay songs like that a good "filler" add in, between the last dance styled song that was released and the next one that will be popping into the charts shortly. It keeps somewhat of a steady "newness" when it comes to new dance style tracks being released on radio. (Clearer Example: A big dance style track hits big in Feb, then another one in April. That's nice, but if you have a big thing in feb, then some moderate dance tune in March that is played along with the February smash for a while, then another big hit in April, It's better for the (dance) sound's exposure and popularity status over time.)

"Naturally" is a great song . This song is getting negative predjuice because of Gomez's Disney affiliation...Add it Add it add it!! What if no one played Miley Cyrus because of her "kiddie" past? You can argue "See You Again" wasn't a smash hit (I loved tat track too) but what about "the Climb"? Dude "naturally" is solid add it.

I dd and so did one of my local chrs I-94 I heard it on a mixshow on Radio Now 100.9 as well, and also B-96 Chicago is on it. I didnt realize this was the same girl from Wizards of waverly place.. I think she is cute.

Be fair Perry...I'm sure they asked for Lady Gaga and ke$sha too.

I am playing it, getting a good response, i think it would depend on when you play it, and if your playing the single version or one of the remixes, which are good. To me it is the first minor surprise hit of the year.
