Selling more Coast to Coast?

Coast to Coast AM has a massive affiliate base, but now I see the show's "official" timeslot is 1-6 AM ET/10 PM-3 AM PT, which is 5 hours. Hour #5 is actually a replay of the first hour, but it has different network spots compared to its original broadcast. I certainly hope this rerun hour isn't being shoved onto stations. The only other reason I can think of is maybe a lot of Coast affiliates already run this first hour again at 5 AM ET/2 AM PT.

There are stations out west (such as KOGO in San Diego) that run the show from 8pm to 4am. What's up with that? Can't they find something else to run at 8pm? ???

there are stations east that do that too, because the C2C feed is continuous from 9 or 10 at night eastern until 9am the next morning and sometimes C2C is better than whats availible (especially on the weekends)

Seems like about all of the affiliates in the eastern zone arfe starting their morning shows at 5am.

I thought the 5am hour was always a repeat.....live 1-5 Eastern, replay 5 to 9am

Peoria's WMBD plays an extra hour on weekends.
