Selma Telecable 1980 (Selma Alabama)

This was the year, my family first got Cable TV. I was a little kid, in the 3rd grade, at the time. From my own memory bank.

WCFT (CBS) Tuscaloosa (A Few Months After we became a customer, WCFT would be replaced with HBO)
WKAB (ABC) Montgomery
WCOV (CBS) Montgomery
WAIQ (PBS) Montgomery
WBRC (ABC) Birmingham
CBN (With WBMG (CBS) Birmingham Sharing This Channel) (A few Months after we became a customer, CBN would take over this channel full time)
Blank Channel
WSFA (NBC) Montgomery
WSLA (CBS) Selma
WTBS (Superstation 17) Atlanta (With WTOK (ABC) Meridian Mississippi Sharing This Channel) (A few months after we became a customer, WTBS would take over this channel full time)
Featured a Clock and other Weather related items that would run from left to right and vice versa, with WALX 100.9 FM Beautiful Music Selma playing.
WVTM (NBC) Birmigham

Over the years, this channel line up would change and grow. During the mid to late 90s, Telecable would become TCI and then would become Charter/Sprectrum in the 2000s.
