Sennheiser Shock Mount MZS421 (for MD421 Mic)

I have a couple of the MZS421 shock mounts (for the MD421 mic) and the rubber is disintegrating on them. Does anyone know where I can find new rubber bands for these? Or is there a better "universal" mount that will work for this mic that has more readily available parts? Thanks.

Well, you can always replace the MZS421...they are still available.

Since they are so inexpensive, it's doubtful that Sennheiser would sell you parts for them.

If you don't need a shock mount, the MZA421 is half the cost and will work just fine.

Yes they will sell you the "rubber bands."
Been a while but I have replaced them with "factory" parts.

If you don't care about the "shock" mount, just re-string them with a black jacket #16 solid wire.

When I had a band break they mailed me a new set of five, I think it was. And it was gratis (free). Even sent a diagram so I could put them back on
