Sept was a big "news" month.

September ratings are interesting. KYW scored huge gains last month, as did their sister station WINS in NYC. Was it simply the back-to-school/back-to-work thing, or was something else going on (besides earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.!)? Also appeared to be a good month for WOGL.

Yeah, that "rapture" thing is supposed to rear its ugly head again in a few weeks... ::)

I guess this is the ratings thread for this month.

This is the first ratings book for WIP-FM, but it's only a partial book. The book is August 18 - September 14. They flipped on September 2. So, you can't really evaluate it because of the simulcast factor. You can evaluate the competitors better.

WPEN AM/FM is down to a combined 1.6, from a combined 2.1 last month.

Looks like MMR got a fairly sizeable bump in TSL from the demise of WYSP. Cume was down slightly , but share was up to a 4.9 from 4.3 the previous book.
