I didn't watch tv or listen to the radio before I got in my car to go to school that morning. I was listening to Paul Simon's Graceland, not having a clue what was going on. As I was on my way to school I was listening to KZEP, when they reported that the WTC was on fire. That's all I thought of it as, was a fire and not a terrorist attack. When I got to school, that's when I found out what really happened on KSAT when all programming was suspended for the ABC national coverage. I didn't really listen to the radio afterwards, just TV since all channels were airing CNN or some national news network. Anyone have airchecks of stations they were listeining to in the Austin/SA area, or recall what they heard on the station they were listening to at the time?

I remember driving to work KVET, KASE, KPEZ, KHFI was all simalcasting a news/infomation Sam and Bob were talking about all the infomation, I think that was a day after, I know they were broadcasting the news all morrning. I believe Rock 101 was simalcasting their news/talk station on 740 back when KLOL was rock 101.
