September 8, 2007. The 60s will live in North Myrtle Beach!

Just a note to share with anyone who may be interested in coming to a great free concert. Our station, WNMB, will present the "Buckinghams" from Chicago in a free concert at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach on Satuday, Sept. 8 at 12:30 noon. This is the great group who did "Kind of A Drag", "Susan", "Hey Baby", "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" and more. the Bucks still have original founding members Carl Giammarese and Nick Fortuna. They are awesome, so come join us. All radio people who show up can help host the event as we broadcast from the concert.
However, anyone wanting to sing will have to wait until midnight on the same day!

You sure know how to work a room, Bill. Wish I could come. For those of you who are interested and really fancy yourselves radio pukes, check out WNMB-AM's streaming on www.wnmb.net. There's also a music thread on the Eastern North Carolina's board that wnmb's format compliments. Thanks for the "heads up" Bill.
