September PPM's

WMGK cracks double-digits again!

KYW more than gains what it lost last month.

WOGL and B101 both continue downward.

What the hell happened to BEN-FM?!

WTDY still beats Q102.

WUMR bops up to a 2.1, not that it matters. (OMG, his blood must really be boiling right now.)

That 6.8 for WMMR has to be thanks to their A->Z. I can see TSL jumping during those 2+ weeks.

They were pretty darn close to that in May. Little wobbles aren’t anything new. Looks like a good number of the stations are bouncing around in their general ranges month to month to month. Some certainly show a more sustained direction, some look like weird aberrations in the absence of longer term trends.

I doubt it. 6.8 is at the high end of the normal wobble range for that station. A 6.8 is a 5.9 is a 5.5 is a 5.1 is a 5.3 is a 5.7 in the PPM. Totally within the margin of error.

Beasley owning 18-34. That's impressive.

Where’s 97.5 in 25-54 I don’t see it in the report
That's something that kinda bothers me about the Roundups. They'll sometimes give the top 7 stations in a demo. Why 7? Or they'll give stations 1 through 6 and then station 8 and 9. Why skip 7?

Aside from wondering how/why they don't just give you the top 5 or 10 in each of the demos, you're left wondering if the station you're interested in (in your case, 97.5) was one of the stations they skipped, or if it just didn't rate high enough to be mentioned. I guess we'll never know.

I usually like the style in which they write the reports, but I'd actually prefer if they just showed the top 5 or 10 in each of the demos in a table format, so we could all just get the info and move on with our days.

It may be, in certain cases, that the "missing stations" are not subscribed.

It is amazing to see WMGK in the double digits in the overall ratings. Very few stations in a Top 10 market hit double digits. I think only WAMU, the public radio station in Washington DC, is higher than WMGK among the largest markets.
