September Ratings...Huge leap for 100.3

Ratings for August 15th thru September 11th

WLW #1 with a 13.7 share.
WGRR and B105 tied for #2 (7.5 share).
Q102 continues to slide. Three month trend 8.0-6.7-6.0
WEBN in top 5 for first time in a while with a 5.2 (this is typically the month their ratings are highest because of the fireworks).

Biggest leap: Old School 100.3....the former FM 100 The Fan has gone from dead last with the sports format, all the way into the top 10 (tied for 8th), with a 4.3 share in it's first full ratings period.

Nielsen is taking after Arbitron and is not releasing numbers for non-subscribers.

I couldn't believe those numbers. Catapulted into the top ten. How crazy is that. It is not often you see a new format take off like this one has. They must be attracting listeners from many different demos. Crossover listeners, if you will.
Good for them. Where did they get these listeners from?
Hopefully, Nielson will change course on releasing the non subscribing stations numbers. We just got a letter that they are going to reinstate some markets that Arbitron killed.
 
Lovin' the music on 100.3, good for them! Nice ratings. WSAI? Just turn off the signal and have a couple of people shout from the top of Price Hill. Save money on electricity! What a shame that frequency has sunk so low from the old Top 40 glory days with Roy Cooper and the rest of the gang.
 
Where did they come from? 1.) The Wiz, check their direction, down. 2.) Not listening to the radio. I imagine their TSL is through the roof and the ethnic make up is at least 90% black. If I'm on the Wiz staff, good to have a better combo in the building but not pleased we were sacrificed to make up for the mistake of The Fan.
 
Thanks Boss ( i bet you hear that a lot). Was the change all proportional? I guess the most nervous people in the building are the on air guys over at the wiz.
 
I doubt WIZF is going to change formats anytime in the future. Mojo 100.3 did the same thing to the Wiz and that's why Radio One decided to flip 100.3 to sports. I still hear some PSA filler in the evening on 100.3 so it is possible their ratings boost is helping their billing although there are no live local personalities on the station.
 
Good question. I doubt WLW needs him since they are the dominate talker in Cincinnati. 55KRC could use a boost though. Dump Glenn Beck for McConnel.
 
Wow the X just keeps falling, almost at Click levels now. Doesn't CC have an active rock feed they can use instead of Alternative?
