Serverin bashing the Brits

I often hear Jay Severin bashing Brits on his show. After today's uncovering of a terror cell targeting American transatlantic flights by Scotland yard, I really have to call out Severin's behavior. We Americans should be thankful that we have an ally that steps up to the plate on the war on terror. Some in our country think we are an invincible nation that doesn't need help from anyone else. Clearly that is short sighted thinking. As for Severin, I question his comparing Englishmen to homosexuals. Not only is the gay bashing unnecessary, but those Englishmen are the only ally going to bat for the US in the war on terror.
 
Jay is a fraud. His gay bashing makes one wonder if it is a cover for his own proclivities. As to the Brits. They did what none of the Bushies have been able to do. Hail Britannica !
 
Good for the British for stepping up to the plate. Severin is a total boob. That pretty much sums it up I think.
 
Do we have an ally in the British or does Bush have an ally in Tony Blair?

Sad to say, Ciao, people like Severin are only in it for the money, no matter how much hate they incite, no matter what the negative repercussions.

It is oh so coincidental that the "President' who failed to stop 9/11, who blamed it on his predecessor, will use the Yellow, Orange, Red alerts right around each election phase. Gee, what a coincidence! Power hungry people will use anything and anyone to achieve their goals. Severin is nothing but a pawn. He has no solutions to offer his listening audience, just hyperbole and fiction.

Tony Blair and George W. Bush know how to take advantage, Corporations are only willing to be complicit in this outrageous abuse of public trust, and little shills like Severin gleefully cash their checks and act holier than thou. This is a truly twisted time.
 
Not to go too far off topic here, but it was only a matter of time before some group figured this out.

It isn't rocket science to know that there was a huge loophole in security by allowing liquids on a plane as carry on. One test that failed to detect a hand grenade being carried thru security screening was done by putting the fake device in a cup of cofee and carrying it thru.


Remember you heard it here first, the MBTA is an unsecure transit system where 90 percent of the stations and tunnels can be accessed by one master key every illegal alien contract cleaning employee has. And yes they are illegals. the head of the cleaning crew that was stealing huge money from Harvard Station recently was an illegal with unrestricted access to the station and tunnels after the close of service at night.

So if WRKO ever wants to do a segment on T security....
 
Neggy, are you waiting for WRKO to actually do some real work? Isn't it interesting how Boston radio is not pro-active. All Boston radio is reaction by crisis.

As for the theory that the new terrorist threat is propaganda - the Brits were no doubt watching these terrorists for months and did Dubya a favor pouncing on them for the upcoming elections. Fear is not going to work anymore and all WRKO's listeners voting won't make this Blue state Red. The only good thing about RKO's propaganda is that no one with a brain is listening.

Hate to correct you here, but Australia has a harder stance (than the UK) on some issues in the war on terror. Our government is prepared to let our national's stay in that Cuban hell hole where Bitain negotiated a release for it's prisioners. Our government is so far up Duya's butt, we might as well be another state. The running joke is Australia is that we are the South East Asian branch office of the US.
